It's Perfectly Logical: Boston Honors EHS Grad, Leonard Nimoy, '48

Mayor Marty Walsh has declared March 26 to be Leonard Nimoy Day in the city. Nimoy, who died in 2015 was born in Boston on March 26, 1931.
Nimoy, who went on to world-wide fame as Mr. Spock on the Star Trek television series attended English High School from 1944-48.

Nimoy, here 2nd from right in the front row, was active in campus clubs including "The Switchboard Boys" and "Discussion Club"

He “brought honor upon his native city with his accomplishments as an actor, writer, producer, director, poet, photographer, and philanthropist,” according to the proclamation made by Mayor Marty Walsh

His fellow English High Alumni will always remember him as a Man of Honor and Achievement. Live long and prosper Lennie!
